L'oréal acquisition of decléor and carita finalised L'Oréal Acquisition of Decléor and Carita The L'Oréal Acquisition of Decléor and Carita has been finalised, with Delphine Viguier-Hovasse appointed as General Manager for Decléor and Carita International. Formerly held by the Shiseido group, Decléor and Carita will now be integrated into the L'Oréal Professional Products Division. L'Oréal Professional Products are now present in the three professional beauty markets: haircare; nail care and colour, through the Essie brand; and now face and body care with Carita and Decléor. An Verhulst-Santos, president of L'Oréal’s Professional Products Division, said: "This acquisition is a wonderful opportunity for our division, which will become a major player in this strategic professional beauty market very complementary to hair salons." The Decléor and Carita business in the UK will continue to be led by Carolyn Taylor, Managing Director, De cléor (UK) Limited, reporting to Kenneth Campbell, Managing Director of L’Oréal’s Professional Products Division UK&I. Carolyn added: "We are delighted to be part of the L’Oreal Professional Division; this acquisition will allow Decléor and Carita to flourish and marks the start of a new exciting Era for both brands."
