The big reveal - what barbers are doing on the hj men and wahl stage at hj live london From bagpipes to Hype Beast themed shows, here’s a taster of some of the barber demos that will be on the HJ Men in association with Wahl stage this weekend at HJ Live London. Tickets are still free if you register in advance. What are you waiting for? Here’s just some of the talent at London’s ExCel on Sunday 25 and Monday 26 February… SliderCuts From starting his business in his bedroom at his Mum’s house, SliderCuts provides the tightest shape-ups from East London to West Hollywood (his clients include Anthony Joshua and Stormzy). SliderCuts will show on stage how he’s not just shaping-up hairlines, but how he’s shaping-up an entire culture. Davie the Barber Wahl ambassador and double Scottish Barber Shop of the Year nominee, Davie will be doing a contemporary gents cut and he’ll have a piper with him on stage too. (Kilts yet to be confirmed.) Myles Lewis Myles and the Stag and Dagger Barbering co are showing their Hype Beast collection. A term commonly used for high end street wear and limited edition clothing, they’ll be drawing inspiration from likes of Palace, Supreme, Air Jordan, Stone Island to name a few brands. Jarred Liddington Jarred Liddington, Cal Newsome and Joe Venant will be focusing on how valuable Instagram is as a marketing tool for barbers. Each of them will produce a cut that they are recognized for from their social channels. Lynndy Rolfe  Lynndy will be showcasing a mix of gender neutral styles on a mix of both male and female models, displaying the current trend for androgynous looks. MENSPIRE The MENSPIRE team will demonstrate a range of technique through their philosophy and passion to become creative whilst identifying core shapes. Expect to experience a whole new concept about learning and discovery. Ross Charles BHA nominated Ross Charles will be presenting two creative looks using a Precision Freeform style of cutting. Ross’s work will feature techniques used in his Men’s BHA Finalist Collection 2017.
