Surrey salon awards 2019: the winners are announced The Surrey Salon Awards 2019 took place for the first-time on Monday 22 September at the Hilton Cobham where the 2019 winners were announced. Attended by salon teams, hairdressers and industry professionals, the awards celebrated a wide range of talented individuals, businesses and team accomplishments. Co-hosted by Kate Jeffery and Errol Douglas MBE, guests enjoyed some mind-bending entertainment by the magical Nick Crown. Kate Jeffery, Salon Awards director said “It was a pleasure to bring the Salon Awards to Surrey, there was such a great energy in the room, which for me really shows the determination of hairdressing professionals in Surrey ,who are striving to be the best they can and improve standards in the county. To have this support in the first year is phenomenal, and ensures that these awards can bloom and evolve into the benchmark of hairdressing excellence in Surrey.” Adding three new counties to it awards this year, The Surrey Salon Awards is the beginning of the 2019 season, and follows the great success of 2018 in Essex, Hampshire, Yorkshire and Sussex, with West Midlands and Hertfordshire. The Winners:

  • Best Customer Experience: Headmasters Sutton
  • Best Colour Salon: The Hair Lounge
  • Best Salon for Bridal Hair: Teresa Weller Hair Art
  • Best Salon for Hair Extensions: Remington Harrow
  • Best Salon for Training: The Cutting Room
  • People's Choice Award: Collections Hair Club
  • Best Salon Team: JAM HAIR
  • Creative Image of the Year: Thomas Hills, TH1 Hair
  • Stylist of the Year: Thomas Hills, TH1 Hair
The 7 Salon Awards events will run over the duration of the next few weeks, welcoming more than 1200 hairdressers, barbers and salon owners. The Salon Awards are supported by sponsors Great Lengths, Clean IT and Barry Jeffery Photography. Entries will be judged by a panel of industry professionals, business gurus, and prolific business owners alike, including Errol Douglas MBE, David Drew, Karine Jackson, Carolyn Newman and Craig Chapman.
