Davines world wide hair tour

The digital Davines World Wide Hair Tour (WWHT) brought together the international hair community from 22-23 November.

Regeneration was the main theme of the event and the brand announced that it would continue as the theme for their next event held in Lisbon in 2021.

The World Wide Hair Tour has always offered the opportunity to meet creative hairdressers, exchange trends, ideas and projects within the framework of an event dedicated to beauty. In this digital edition, Davines‘ master hairstylists met the community live worldwide, exchanging messages of strength and encouragement, but it was also an opportunity to reveal the previews that will be the protagonists of the physical event that will take place in the second half of 2021 in Lisbon.

The watchword of this WWHT in the Cloud was: REGENERATION. Viewers were called to reinvent the future after this very special year. The concept of Regeneration was carried out by all the hairstylists, each bringing their own personal interpretation of how a theme with such a global impact can be used as a positive lever in the sector.

We should first consume only what we are able to regenerate, and then begin to regenerate what we have consumed in excess in past years. This need is finally taking hold and guiding the sustainability strategies of governments and businesses.

Talent was also rewarded in this event, through the Talent Green House contest which in the previous weeks saw the most talented young people from different parts of the world compete. Ten finalists will enter the WWHT 2021 stage.

We were treated to virtual shows and presentations from Davines’ global art director Michael Polsinelli, internationally renowned hair artist Anna Pacitto and hair art director Tom Connell to name a few.
