Alternative hair international visionary awards - highest volume of entries

Now in it’s 35th year, this year’s International Visionary Award saw the highest ever number of entries from over 50 countries, in the award’s three categories: Cut & Colour, Avante-Garde & Men’s. Whilst judging the entries, Alternative Hair President, Anthony Mascolo noted, “This competition becomes more exciting every year and the presentation of the finalists within the Alternative Hair Show has become one of the highlights of the evening.” “I am inspired to see the work that is sent in. Entries have come from an unbelievable number of countries including most of Europe and Scandinavia, but also from Canada, Australia, Japan, the USA, Taiwan and Bermuda,” continued Anthony. The finalists will appear live on-stage at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday on October 16th 2017. The names of the finalists appearing in each category will be launched on Alternative Hair’s digital platforms within the next 10 days. The Alternative Hair Charity Foundation raises funds to support blood cancer charities and to date has risen over £12 Million towards successful research into childhood Leukaemia.
