The aim of each custom-blended treatment is to improve texture and provide intense hydration for all hair types. How does the Oribe Hair Remedies treatment work?
The Renewal Remedies Treatment consists of two components – Foundations and Amplifiers. The two components are combined by the salon stylist based on the client’s individual hair needs. Once the components are mixed together, the treatment is applied to the hair after shampooing and left on for just five minutes.
How to apply the in-salon treatment
Follow these six simple steps... Step one: Wash your client’s hair with a recommended Oribe shampoo. Rinse thoroughly. Squeeze out excess moisture and towel-dry strands. Step two: Choose the Foundation base for your client’s hair type – either Fine to Medium Hair or Medium to Coarse Hair and add five pumps to an applicator bottle. Step three: Choose the Amplifier best suited to your client’s hair needs – Strengthening, Smoothing or Color Retention – and add one pump to the applicator bottle.
Step four: Once you have added the Foundation base and Amplifier to your applicator bottle shake well to mix them together.
Step five: Divide hair into sections and apply the treatment from root to tip. Concentrate on the damaged areas and ends. Massage the treatment into strands and comb through to ensure thorough distribution. Leave on for a minimum of five minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Step six: Apply recommended Oribe prep product and desired styling products and style as usual.

What do you need to create the treatment:
Applicator Bottle: Use the applicator bottle to apply the Foundation and Applicator mixed together onto your client’s hair.
Foundations for Fine to Medium Hair and Foundations for Medium to Coarse Hair: Foundations contain bio-synergy to restore the hair, creatine to repair the cuticle, a hair radiance complex to seal the cuticle and a polymeric UV filter to protect against colour fading.
Smoothing Amplifier: The Smoothing Amplifier contains a marine complex and a specialised cross-linked polymer to deliver smoothness, softness and control while reducing frizz.
Strengthening Amplifier: The Strengthening Amplifier contains a patented fortifying complex and blend of 12 amino acids to improve elasticity and strength to prevent breakage.
Color Retention Amplifier: The Color Retention Amplifier contains color-lock technology and a luminosity-enhancing antioxidant to restore the protective outer layer of strands and shield hair from oxidative stress.
Oribe Hair Care's sustainability focus
Sustainability and functionality were priorities when developing the Renewal Remedies Treatment Experience packaging system. The Foundation and Amplifier bottles are made from 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and are recyclable. The applicator bottles and applicator tips were developed to be washed and reused multiple times, which results in a lower overall carbon footprint when developing, producing and filling the packaging.
