One Direction star Zayn Malik caused a stir at the London 2012 closing ceremony, unveiling a new blond-highlighted hairstyle.
The boyband singer made sure his new colour was showed off to its best with a spiky quiff poking out from under his hat.
Zayn's new look may not appear too drastic compared to some of the more colourful characters in the music industry, but the loyal army of One Direction fans on Twitter ensured it was still a hot topic of conversation.
It's the first time we've seen Zayn try a new colour, having stuck to his natural brunette locks since his first appearance on The X Factor.
