Tanfastic: st tropez spray tan

Tanfastic: st tropez spray tan This surely has to be the wettest summer on record -- I'm more likely to get webbed feet, rather than a tan at this rate. Ah, that was until St Tropez called...A fan of the pale and interesting (I wish!) look, I'd always avoided the self tan. While formulations have improved, and I know other people get great results, I still felt there was too much scope for error... I remember when the spray tan was "invented" -- so I can't believe it's taken me so long to pluck up the courage to try if for myself. Unsurprisingly, it was raining on the day of my tanning experience -- typical -- so, I now had visions of not only being tangoe'd but having a semi-permanent streaky finish too. Sophie was tanning me today -- normally used to bronzing the rich and famous, I think she had her work cut out and visions of painting the Severn Bridge came to mind! I shouldn't have worried -- she explained the procedure, which she carried out with military precision. Clothes off, feet protectors on, and moisturising lotion applied to any dry skin. Sophie then set about spraying me, following a set routine. Arms up, arms down, a leg here, a leg there -- let's be honest, it's not the most dignified of treatments. Standing in the buff with not much more than paper pants to cover my modesty -- would normally fill me (and the therapist!!!) with complete terror. However, Sophie is a true professional and made me feel completely at ease -- as well as giving me a great tan. I couldn't believe it -- a mere 15 or so minutes from start to finish and it was all done -- an instant success (-- which only went on to get better as it developed). Thank you very much -- who needs the sun when we've got spray tans?
