Sally montague belper: interiors inspiration Sally Montague Belper Interiors Inspiration Sally Montague Belper launched in 2000 and has since been extended four times; most recently to include a state-of-the-art beauty floor and lifestyle store. The Sally Montague Hair Group has six salons across Derbyshire, with the Belper salon sitting in the heart of the historic textile town, which was recently crowned the best high street and market town in Britain. Designed by Director, Sally Montague, and her husband, Garrick Sayers, the chic interior is the perfect hairdressing haven for its discerning client base. Thanks to four redevelopments, the salon now spans 5,000 sq ft across two buildings, fusing hairdressing with a newly-launched beauty floor and large lifestyle store, offering haircare products, accessories and jewellery. The new first floor ESPA beauty area, which boasts three state-of-the-art treatment rooms and a Make Up by HD Brows makeover and retail space, was unveiled in October 2014. Sally says: "We have invested heavily in the Belper salon over the years as it continues to be popular with residents in Belper and beyond. Our recent addition of the relaxing beauty area on the first floor acts as a sanctuary for clients to get some respite from the busy salon downstairs. We are thrilled with the ESPA treatment rooms and dedicated Make Up by HD Brows retail space and hope they will be enjoyed by our clients, both old and new." The salon walls are painted with varying shades of grey, for a luxurious feel, which is in keeping with the Sally Montague Hair Group brand. The two Barcelona chairs in the reception are were created by design duo Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich. The upper level is the colour area of the salon and has eight styling stations featuring floor to ceiling silver mirrors and modern chrome cylinder radiators, which are an attractive focal point. Downstairs there are seven styling stations, which are used for cutting and styling. A large crystal chandelier sparkles in an airy roof lantern, which is centrally located on the lower floor to flood the area with natural light. The salon's new beauty rooms, which took two months to complete, take residence on the first floor of the building, offering clients a relaxing haven to enjoy ESPA treatments in peace and tranquility. Painted in Farrow and Ball chalk paints in muted pink, grey and purple shades, the colour palette complements the ESPA branding.
