Rainbow room international 2014 congress celebrates winners

The Rainbow Room International 2014 Congress saw Scotland's largest salon group celebrate its in-house talent at the luxurious Airth Castle Hotel and Spa. Before the awards show in the evening, the day kicked off with a team-building exercise with a difference. Salons were split into six groups and tasked with creating two model looks referencing a current trend; one avant-garde and one salon-friendly. In the afternoon, Schwarzkopf Professional and the Rainbow Room International Artistic Team both took to the stage to present their latest trends, ensuring everyone was left feeling inspired. Evening saw the awards presentation, with gongs for training, creativity, charity work and more. Big winners on the night were George Square who took Salon Team of the Year as well as Creative Image and Hairdresser of the Year. George Square co-owner Dylan Dylan Brittain commented: "We're so proud of our amazing team for all of their hard work and dedication. Winning Salon Team of the Year is a huge honour for everyone involved so it's an incredible achievement.
