The Michael Kors presentation at New York Fashion Week saw a star-studded line-up of sophisticated red carpet regulars.

Model and socialite, Amber Heard, opted for a classic groomed ponytail. With a little height around the crown to avoid the Croydon facelook-lift and the very lengths of the tail curled with tongs, this is a classic preppy Princess look - given a bit of edge with a fab tomato-red lipstick.

Debra Messing is a Michael Kors fan and always appears front row at the shows. Best known for her mass of tumbling red curls, this time Debra opted for a poker-straight look which showed off the blunt ends of her style.

Jessica Alba was also in attendance and opted for a sleek bun with a quiffed section at the front. Slightly wet-look with product, this sleek style paired with Jessica's full brows and bright red lips adds up to a striking 80s-inspired look.
