London salon supports suited & booted charity Suited and BootedHair salon Giannasso is using National Fun at Work Day to launch its support for a charity designed to help disadvantaged men into employment. Sergio Giannasso has long admired the work carried out by the Suited & Booted charity based in the City of London and decided that Fun at Work day on January 28, would be the perfect chance to announce his support for the charity. Suited & Booted offers vulnerable and disadvantaged men the chance to get clothes that they can wear to potential interviews. The dedicated charity team also help support their clients with advice about interview techniques and other confidence building ideas. Said Sergio: “This is a fantastic cause that does not get a lot of publicity. I decided that I wanted to help raise their profile and offer to use the salon as a drop off centre for all kinds of clothing. We will also try to offer free hair cuts. “We are celebrating Fun at Work day in the salon with a party and we believe it is a great chance for us to help other people find work. Being employed makes people feel valued and everyone should have that chance.” In the meantime, Sergio is hoping hair product companies will also support the charity by donating much needed shampoo.
