Lady gaga's craziest hair of 2010

Lady gaga's craziest hair of 2010 Lady Gaga has had an undisputed impact on the hairdressing industry in 2010.
And while not every client will want her crazy colour and avant garde styling, the pop diva has inspired many to experiment with wigs, braver shades, and fun accessories.
With 2010 nearly at a close, we take a look at some of Gaga's best looks - and ask avant garde finalist Craig Chapman what he makes of her craziest hairstyles of the year.

Lady Gaga kicked off the year with a typically flamboyant wig, in contrasting shades of golden butter yellow and creamy blonde.
The 'wig' line around her head - and that enormous sparkling dress - keep what's actually quite a conventional style as avant garde as we'd expect.
"I love this look as donned by Lady Gaga at the start of the year," says Craig.
"It's bold and has a high fashion edge to it, which is perfect for her powerful pop persona!"
"The frozen peach and incredibly intense daffodil colouring come together to make a fantastic statement of the thick, wavy tresses, and this combined with her usual unique clothing make it another hit - very nicely done indeed!"

Lady Gaga's hair bow is one of her defining looks - and one of the most wearable.
You can even buy pre-made bows in a selection of shades from ASOS, proving that this quirky style has transcended to a high street trend.
Craig says: "This look sported by Lady Gaga way back in February has to be one of the safest takes on the Gaga hair rollercoaster!"
"Blonde is definitely her colour and the long wig adds to the style, but it's the statement bow that seals the deal."
"This novelty accessory tweaks the look into something worthy of the risk-taking Lady. This has to be her winning casual day look!"

When promoting her single Telephone on Jonathan Ross, what else would Gaga wear but... well, a telephone?
The jaunty hat - which Gaga proceeded to answer on air - just about distracts from her two-tone lilac and yellow hair.
"Never one to shy away from making a hair fashion statement, Lady Gaga always has everyone waiting to see how she will transform herself next," says Craig.
"The telephone headdress she wore on the Jonathan Ross show back in April certainly got people talking!"
"Not only does it demonstrate that she is experimental with her hairdos, but also that she has a wicked sense of humour! I'm not very keen on the yellow and purple colour combo but as for the whole image? Fabulously flamboyant!"

Lady Gaga's most recent high profile hair look was the pastel-hued wig so wore at the VMAs.
Although this fantasy-hued hair looks cool, it pales in comparison to the much talked-about meat dress which she wore it with!
"What can I say about the infamous meat dress and grey hair Lady Gaga sported in September?" laughs Craig. "I suppose she can't always get it right, can she?"
"Everything about this image is wrong - the wig would look alright if she hadn't teamed it with an outfit fit for the butchers rather than the red carpet, but I say so what?!"
"On this occasion the queen of chameleon got it wrong - but it wouldn't be Lady Gaga if she played it safe. One thing's for sure, we can always rely on her to shake things up with her crazy coutures and coiffures!"
