Karine jackson talks rubbish

London hairdresser Karine Jackson has launched a campaign to get Westminster Council to recycle business plastic and cardboard.

Said Karine: "It's simply ridiculous that Westminster Council refuses to recycle such a huge amount of plastic and cardboard waste for businesses in this area. Why should all of this recyclable material be going into landfill when they can recycle domestic waste?"

Continued Karine: "We pay for our rubbish to be taken away - why can't we pay for it to be recycled instead? It makes no sense at all, which is why I'm urging Westminster to rethink this policy. I've set up a Facebook page so that other businesses in Westminster can sign up - along with anyone with an interest in the environment that agrees this should be changed."
