England and Chelsea captain John Terry is the face of KOS.PRO. He tells us about his grooming routine.

How would you sum up your style?JT: Classic and simple. I love a well-tailored suit together with a pressed shirt and freshly shaven face. I’ll then put a bit of wax in my hair and I’m ready to go.Do you feel under pressure to look good when you go out?JT: At Chelsea FC, we all take pride in our appearance when we go out. I love wearing a good suit and always feel smart with one on. I wouldn’t say there’s huge pressure for footballers to dress up – we’re all individuals and like different styles and trends, so tend to wear whatever we feel comfortable in.How important is image to footballers?JT: We all like to take care of our appearance. Being in the public eye some footballers think about it more than others. I would like to think I would dress the same whether I was a footballer or in another job. How important is it to you to look good, not only as a sportsman but as a fully fledged celebrity?JT: I’m not a celebrity, I’m a footballer and while I care about my appearance my performance on the pitch takes precedence. It’s up to the individual as to how far a man should go with his grooming. My routine for getting ready during the day rarely changes and is low maintenance, like most blokes.Are you aware that young men may copy your style?JT: I take my responsibility as England and Chelsea captain very seriously as I know a lot of young boys look up to me, but I wouldn’t say I was a great style leader like David Beckham. I tend to keep my style quite simple, classic – I’ll never wear anything too outrageous. Do the England/Chelsea team compare and swap products?JT: The boys love the fact that I’m working with a grooming company as it keeps them in shaving and haircare products!Who do you admire for their style and why?JT: David Beckham’s an incredibly stylish guy, he always looks smart and can carry off many different looks.You are the face for KOS.PRO and you’ve tried the whole range.
