Jessica alba and nicole richie dazzle at charity event

Yummy mummies Jessica Alba and Nicole Richie made a super-glam red carpet appearance at the Baby2Baby charity gala in Los Angeles.

With both stars in elaborately sequinned and embroidered gowns, hair was kept up and out of the way with two very different swept-up styles.

Jessica let her princess-worthy Valentino gown take centre stage, keeping her hair simple and slicked back away from the face in a tight ballerina bun at the nape of the neck. While the style is classically understated, the wet-look finish gives this look a bit of an edge for an on-trend finish.

The 20s trend continues with Nicole's style, with her beaded Lorena Sarbu gown complemented by a wavy faux-bob. With her hair tucked under at the nape and finished in glossy, perfectly-formed S-waves, Nicole looks every inch of the old-school siren.
