The heat is on and the players are on top form but the best thing about Wimbledon is the stylish babes who manage to look good on and off the tennis court.

Playing professional sports must play havoc with your hair but some stars embrace a natural look that is easy as well as glamorous.

Skyler McDonald, Creative Director of seanhanna loves the Wimbledon style: "The Wimbledon girls are upping the glam stakes this year with shorter tennis dresses, wimbledon3sm.jpgaccessories and understated glam hair dos.

"Looking feminine as a sportswoman is no easy feat but these girls show us how to do it in style," she says.

Skyler checks out the low-maintenance 2009 Wimbledon looks.

Anna Ivanovic (pictured left)

"Ana Ivanovic takes an evening look and makes it look understated by working with her naturally glossy waves and bang wimbledon2sm.jpgon trend centre parting."

Serena Williams (right)

"Serena goes for a more demure, sleeked back look with lots of shine for a polished finish. She means business!

"This is one of the most effective ways to keep cool and is great style for afro hair types to stop the hair from further dehydration."

"Maria Sharapova goes for a chic day time look with a dishevelled half updo updated with this season's twists. Anna's look is the most versatile-she could walk straight off the court and to an evening do with her up-do."

And it's not just the players that look fabulous at Wimbledon, Andy Murray's girlfriend Kim Sears has turned up looking more glam by the day with her healthy, flowing mane.

It just goes to show that the natural look doesn't have to be boring and a low-mainenance style can be transformed into a glam 'do for post-play parties.
