Green lizard nightclub, koh samui

I'm not normally a fan of massively long hair because a) I'm jealous that mine always hits a certain length just below the shoulder and then simply refuses to grow any more and b) it has a tendency to go all dry, tangly and generally a bit grotty at the ends.

However, his impressive mane caught my eye as its owner, Maria, swished it around a nightclub in Thailand because it was in such beautiful, glossy condition. Hairdressers will be pleased to hear that the secret  behind such great locks, according to Maria, is that she gets it cut very regularly. Now why does that not work for me?!
