Ghd announce winner of latest spotlight competition

ghd has announced the winner of its latest Spotlight initiative - a social media-fuelled talent search to showcase up-and-coming session stylists. Louise Burgess from RUSH Hair Moorgate in London took the prize for her sultry style, packed full of volume and texture for a modern take on a 60s style. She will now go on to spend the day assisting session stylist Zoe Irwin on a shoot. The online competition saw three finalists selected from over 3,400 entries. The trio then took part in a photoshoot, with their final images voted for on Facebook by ghd fans. "I’m absolutely shell-shocked," said Louise. "Thank you to everyone for the support. It’s been nerve-wracking watching the votes go up and down throughout the competition. On the final morning I was down by twenty so hit the streets of my home town Colchester to drum up more support. I can't wait to work with Zoe Irwin."
