Enjoying life's simple pleasures

In my job, no two days are the same and sometimes I feel like there is not enough time in a week let alone in a day to get everything I have to do done!

Last week I appeared on Angela and Friends on Sky One with Sarah Cox and Josie D'Arby which was great fun. One of the debates we had on the sofa was just how the little things that happen each day make us smile or happy.

I bet you've got loads and I'd love you to write in and tell me a few, I'm thinking about writing a little pocket book of "The Simple Pleasures".

One of mine has been with me for many years, each day I look for a penny, you know the old saying, 'see a penny pick it up all day long you'll have good luck!'

I cheat a bit and have a penny in my bag or jacket pocket and always have one in my wallet just in case. That and my mum's Yorkshire puddings and when someone makes me the perfect cuppa !
