Emma lofstrom illustrates ena salon ceiling Emma Lofstrom, a London-based Swedish illustrator and artist, has created a bespoke ceiling for Ena salon in Holborn. The UK Davines flagship is renowned for its stylish interior, which effortlessly blends secondhand furniture and reclaimed materials to create elegant surroundings which remain sympathetic to the heritage of the building. “We have recently upgraded our salon interior to keep it up to date," says co-director, Pedro Inchenko. "To add a point of difference to our décor we commissioned an artist to create a wallpaper design for the ceiling in the backwash area, so when clients are getting their hair washed they can look up and see something that will be visually simulating." The salon update also included new lighting throughout, designed to complement the building's orignal stained glass; updated reception furniture sourced from apple-press factories in France and beauty rooms on the fourth floor of the building, offering clients a relaxing haven to enjoy Comfort Zone treatments.
