Eddie redmayne named uk's favourite redhead

Oscar-nominated Eddie Redmayne has been voted the UK's favourite redhead, according to a poll by HairTrade.com. The Theory of Everything star took home nearly a quarter of the vote (24%) in the survey, which quizzed 600 men and women to find the nation's best-loved red-haired celeb. Unsurprisingly, Royal heartthrob Prince Harry bagged second place (19%) followed by 2014's main man, Ed Sheerain (15%). One woman who took part in the survey said: "Eddie Redmayne proves that redheaded men can be sexy. When he modelled for Burberry I thought his hair looked great, he’s a worthy winner of the best redhead." Another respondent added: "For me Prince Harry will always be the ultimate cheeky strawberry blonde. There’s a history of redheads in the Royal family so I hope he passes that gene on." A spokesperson from Hairtrade.com said: "We love to celebrate hair in all different styles and colours. After Eddie Redmayne's modelling success and Oscar nominations, he’s set to have a very exciting year as the nation’s favourite redhead."
