The Scottish crooner and his model wife Penny Lancaster enjoyed a romantic double date to the salon yesterday, proving that the couple who snip together, stay together. Maybe. Looks like they enjoyed a blissful time at the backwash; that, or 65-year-old Rod wasn't enjoying the salon experience quite as much as his wife.

The duo - who are expecting a second child in February - even took the opportunity to catch up on the latest celebrity gossip. Wonder what Penny makes of Cheryl Cole's life-changing year?

The only question now is, which salon were Rod and Penny visiting? I'm usually pretty good with spotting London salons in paparazzi pictures, but even I'm foxed here. Not even the bus in the background can provide a clue... Anyone recognise that backwash??
