HeyBig Smile,

I qualfied a year ago and am slowly starting to build up a client base but am going through a tricky stage where everything seems to be getting on top off me and feel like i'm forgetting things. Anyone got any ideas on how to make it easier.

George, it takes a good while to get a solid clientbase and your only going through what all hairdressers go through, its only the great stylists that stay positive during the tough times and they become great. I am sure in time you will look back and say, what the hell was I going on about. I have 2 salons, with some excellent stylists who have the "want factor" and if you have that in your mentality, then you will become successful. My advice, when its tough there is a challenege on, and be the winner not the loser! Also, F O C U S!!! On whats important in your job, this is a fun, vibrant and challenging industry! Carl
