HAS ANYBODY HAD TROUBLE WITH VISION TV? I SIGNED UP WITH THEM TO BUY THEIR EQUIPMENT WITH PROMISED REVENUE FOR ADVERTISING BUT THEY NEVER SOLD ANY ADVERTISING AND LEFT ME WITH A BILL FOR THE EQUIPMENT THAT PREVIOUSLY I HAD FOR NOTHING.
I WAS SIGNED UP TO A BLANK DOCUMENT AND THEREFORE REFUSED TO PAY THE LEASING FROM ADMIRAL THE LEASING COMPANY WHO ARE NOW TAKING ME TO COURT FOR UNPAID FEES.
I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.
See the thread for lifestyle tv. Your not on your own
Hi, Im being taken to court by Admiral, but for something else, regarding their contract again they involved a third party. You have to proceed with this, your contract wasn't made with them, but verbal with someone else, if you signed a blank document, you cannot be held responsible for the terms and conditions. You have been misold. The contract was not what you agreed on the day with the person you made an agreement with.
Im proceeding with court, they trying to take everything we have!
Let me know how you get on ok
hI IM HAVING SAME PROBLEM AS YOU , HOW HAVE YOU GOT ON?
Hi, what problem have you had with Admiral? Mine is proceeding with Court. Let me know about what situation you in ok!
Hi, i signed up with vision tv three years ago , the leasing company being admiral , the funding being Bank of scotland . Vision tv did in no way carry out the conditions of the lease and i was constantly ringing up to find out what was going on. I received no royalties as promised for local advertising. I had two tvs brand new in the box that were never put on the wall. I had adverts in july that still had xmas trees on ! To top it off i suddenly had more and more adverts appear which had been put on through conflict between vision tv and a well known spa/hairdresser in my local area. Legal proceeding were going on between the two so i ended up with his adverts but no royalties! I could not contact anyone on numerous occasions and the leasing company admiral could never tell you what was going on. . even though they obviously knew! I then had alot of unforeseen personal problems and staff losses so i decided to close my salon i tried to ring admiral but know one seemed to know what was going on so i left it and boxed the tvs up and kept them in a safe place. I also had another salon which i kept on which had tvs from vision tv . I suddenly - after monthes was sent a letter telling me that my contract was being moved to another company which had 'bought the contracts' there was an agreement which i never signed in fact i still have the blank copy ! i was the told that i had to pay the three hundred pounds a month to investec asset finance - when i tried to fight this i got debt letters so i carried on paying! I f i hadnt had such difficult personal problems - my boyfreind had cancer and has had to go through treatment I probably would of fought this more but other things have been more important.
I now have received debt letters from a company representing bank of scotland for over £3,000 trying to claim money back from the salon tvs that i took down when i closed the salon . I stupidly thought theyed leave me alone because Admiral leasing took the tvs back over a year ago in there boxes saying they'd try to help and i never heard any more.
I am now going to a solicitor to try and sort this out but could really do without the hassle . I will never take a lease out again it is upsetting because i have always kept to agreements and never had any bother at all . They are rip off merchants! The spa mentioned had the same problems as me but never heard from them again so why is it only me there after?
Hi Sorry haven't been in touch before now, had one court hearing so far, watch this space something big going to happen! It's not only you, I do feel for you what you have been through, I need to find people now who have taken an equipment lease with Admiral and a broker (can't mention which one) and they find it's not what they agreed they signed to when taking it out!!!!! Amongst that invoices created, not by customer!!!!!
If anyone reads this and it's happened to them, please get in touch.
