Hi I am new!!!Big Smile

I completed my nvq 2 last year, and have been working, self employed in a salon ever since.  I have decided that I would like to go on to nvq 3 (have an interview tomorrow )Hmm.  I need some advice, is level 3 very difficult?, and how does it differ from level 2? .  Can anybody offer me any advice on the course.  Thank you x

Hi Luke - are you training through a college or s asalon - or both. Just interested in hearing what routes people take to getting qualified.

In a salon with a training day once a month with my training provider. I'm really enjoying it but would like more days in the training salon, so that I could work through my level 3 faster! I completed level 2 in under a year and have the bug to speed up :D

That's understandable, although all the feedback I get from readers of HJ is that salon experience is vital as part of a training programme....so you're probbaly learning much more than your realise.
