I am going to be getting married this coming June. When i purchased my dress I was looking for a Modern take on a vintage dress from the -1920's-1930's. I have found such a dress and now although I know I would like the hair up I am not sure what would look best. I have a 61in plain veil and a feather comb 3 and 1/2 in. My hair is at least 18 in long  medium  thickness has a wave in it that tends to brush out when I comb it and is otherwise just something I throw in a bun.I have a heart shaped face. hoping for a hairstyle that would suit the dress and my face well. Thank you ahead for any help you may be able to give to me. Any ideas for a modern/vintage style to go with my dress?

patrick cameron has a vintage, retro, dita von tese inspired range out, go to his website and you can see pictures of styles from the dvd, they are basic and pretty :) also i think finger waves, anything pin up inspired is nice, as you dont want to take the attention away from the dress. i would add pictures but there are so many styles on google if you search; pin up. rockabilly.  retro hair :) hope it helps  a bit
