Just received a press release telling us that hairdressers are no longer the women's most trusted confident. The survey found that people were more likely to tell their partner they were having an affair than their hairdresser. Not sure how seriously to take this as it was done by an extra-marital dating website but it did get me thinking. Do clients still share all the details of their life with you or are people becoming more discreet in the salon? Ever heard anything you didn't want to know? And what is the most random thing you've ever heard from someone in your chair (no names please, we don't want to be sued for libel!).

Unfortunately I feel this further reinforces the truth about the publics perception of low professionalism in hairdressing. As an industry we have to take action.
