Hi I have had problems with a company called admiral leasing for almost a year now i bought a caci machine from them on hire agreement and i had to give up my salon due to ill health now they are wanting £8500 from and are trying to repossee the machine from me despit the numerous letters and email we sent stating we wanted to terminate the lease they are now saying that they terminated it i have had many sleepless nights and im struggling to foucs on anything at the moment i am in constant fear of letters and phone calls please has anyone else had a similiar problem.
Hello,
Oh my god .... yes !!
I am having problems too, I upgraded my machine from a smaller CACI machine and took out a mucher larger hire purchase agreement( OR THOUGH I THOUGHT !!) i later found out that I only have a lease document, so i was mis sold this on top of the fact they didn't up grade my machine they just continued taking the payments on the first machine ASWELL !
CACI took back my first machine and somehow between them they mesed up and I'm left paying for two machines! niether company will take repsonability and passes the blame to the other. They now tell me that CACI are not linked to Admiral, however you can only hire / lease their machines through Admiral.
They are rubbish, they have not answered my questions, even through a solicitor. Diary notes they provided have a massive chunk missing , the girl that did the upgrade has now left the company so I am unable to speak to her.
I have refused to pay for a machine that they took back, now I am being taken to court for breach of contract.
I have so much on them I have no idea how they think they will win at court.
I would be very intersed to talk to you if you would like to discuss your dealings too.
Hi thanks for your reply my problem was i took out a hire agreement with them which i was told that i would own the machine at the end of the agreement which was not true i then realised that my business was failing and decided to close down i too have apraoched a solisotor about this and they have ignored my solisitor they refuse to give us an answeer about how much percenatge they are chareging they have now issued me with a court order too i have been told now i have to get a lawyer down in england and not in scotland now beacuse they have issued me with the order this has become really stressfull and i feel this company is getting away far to easyily be happy to chat more about this.
hello,
I have looked into the conract laws quite alot of late and you can in fact cancell a hire purchase agreement, but not a lease.
I like you was told verbally several times that i was being put on a HP contract and i too would in fact own the machine at the end of the term, with a lease document you do not ever own the machine and the company may take the machine off you at any point.
they contrcadict themselves as they have given me written prof that it is a hp but my documents are on a lease paper !
With a HP agreemant if you have paid more than you own on the machine it is rightfully yoursI have been mis sold to , CACI and ADmiral are eqully responsable in this. You need to get a copy of the consumer credit act 1974.
I do not trust this company at all, They too ignor letters from my solicitors. would you like to speak direct ?
hi yeh i think it would be a good idea to chat about this i have mentioned to my solisitor about your situation and he would be extremley interested in speaking to your solisitors maybe see if we can pull together on this i will post my email address and then we can talk further but we certainly can not let these companies getting away with this., my email is info@retreathealthandbeauty.co.uk
speak soon
Hello, im desperatley trying to find people who have had problems with Universal Leasing T/A Admiral Leasing and a broker called Nationwide Corporate Finance plc, ive been to Court a couple of weeks ago due to this company trying to take everything we own, approx £80,000 for a £20,000 loan, the court has instructed that they have to have a forensic handwriting expert as they have an invoice which we didn't create selling everything beneath us, thank god the courts do listen!
The court knows we saying it's fraud and guess what... they can't find the original invoice, im going to court for a 2 day hearing.
What they've done is wrong and is fraud, is anybody else in the same situation, please email me sglbj@ukonline.co.uk
thank you

Hi Tilly,
We entered into a lease agreement for equipment two years ago, and due to the downturn, we are being forced to close the business and can no longer afford the monthly fee for the equipment. We have only just (by 4 days) missed our first payment and Admiral Leasing is on our backs threatening repossession. They are also demanding the remaining 2 years' lease payments totalling £17K! We simply do not have the money. We have also been concerned because when we entered into the agreement we were verbally told we would own the equipment if we paid one more months' payment at the end of the term?!?!?. However, nowhere in the agreement is this detailed or explained. This is a misrepresentation on CACI International's part as they were the one's who initially sold it to us.
Furthermore we have indicated that we may have someone else who is interested in buying the equipment from us, and so we could settle up and finish the agreement. We are unsure what to do now, and don't wish to go bankrupt or lose anything. We'd like to hear from you who've had problems of this nature with Admiral Leasing and/or CACI International.
