My salon has just started to offer extensions and as I am the only one who is able to do them I will be the sole service provider in the company but because my certificates only cover partial fashion effects My boss wants me to go on a training course. However, I do not intend to continue employment with this company and am currently looking for employment elsewhere. The problem is that my boss tends to terminate employment if he finds out if a staff member is looking for employment somewhere else and if he provides training we're tied in for a year ( if I went on the course and left within the year I would have to pay back the money which I could not afford) I am worried if I refuse the training he will suspect that I want to leave and as some staff members know I intend to leave things could get a bit difficult. Can he enforce such a contract? Is it legally binding? If anyone can help me with CERTAIN FACTS i would be most grateful. No "I don't knows" or "maybes" please.
