HJi hearts. . . Dannii's Hair Icon Status

We loved Dannii Minogue's look as soon as she chopped it into a chic yet versatile bob and it now seems that we're not the only ones.
Dannii won our Cheryl vs Dannii poll as voted for by HJi.co.uk viewers and now a number of top hairdressers have revealed to HJi that Dannii is their style icon of the year including Michael Hooker of Hooker and Young and Richard Ward.
Dannii's hair stylist Christian Vermaak tells HJi why her look is so hot right now. "I'm so glad people are liking Dannii's look. Dannii and I are having the best fun with her hair this year.
"Her hair cut is a cross between Cleopatra and Louise Brooks. A short, sharp bob with a heavy fringe," he says.
With X Factor now in full swing, Dannii has been trying out new looks to wow the crowds and she's blossomed into the hottest babe on the show, who isn't afraid to experiment with new and bold styles.
Says Christian, "The style is definitely the most versitile haircut I have ever come across. It can be styled with or without the fringe, quiffed up or slicked to the side.
"All the looks we are trying to achieve are edgy looks but still 
classy with a bit of rock chick thrown in."
With the nod of approval from other top hairdressers and the love of the public on Dannii's side, Christian is certainly doing something right!
"I think Dannii has found a haircut that is 'her'. Not everyone is brave enough for a cut like that, but sometimes you just have to do it. We did it, and it's been the making of her," says Christian.
