It's Showtime at Salon International

Posted by Kate
Dated: July 20, 2009 2:01 PM

Salon International has built a reputation as the premier hair show in Britain, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the globe.

This year will prove no exception, and the countdown is now on to 17-19 October and Salon International 2009.

Once again the venue will be ExCeL London, and some 250 exhibitors will be there, ranging from top-class international players to new independent companies wanting to make an impact on the industry.

The bustling Hair Show will come alive with presentations and demonstration areas, featuring the latest and greatest wet products, appliances and those vital accessories that no salon can do without.

Many exhibitors, including BaByliss Pro, Corioliss, Denman, Hair Tools, Rusk, TIGI and TONI & GUY, will host live stages, featuring top name hairdressers in action - making Salon International the place to keep up with the latest product developments, style trends and techniques.

The Fellowship for British Hairdressing stage will prove a major focal point of the show, hosting some of the biggest names in hairdressing, with a packed timetable running across all three days of the show.

Salon Live
Industry luminaries will also be appearing at the Salon Live theatre, demonstrating the creativity and skills that have kept them at the top of their game.

Signed up for 2009 are Tim Hartley, presented by Davines; Patrick Cameron; the Sassoon Academy, presented by Sassoon Professional; TIGI's Inspirational Youth; and Toni & Guy.

Salon Seminars
There will also be the chance to observe some of the best creative work in a more intimate environment at the Salon Seminars.

This year Mahogany will be one of the leading artistic teams sharing its take on contemporary colour and cutting techniques.

Business Extra
The Business Extra seminars, which are sponsored by Salon Genius, are the perfect solution for business owners and managers looking to hone their skills; or for those staff members looking to increase their business acumen.

Offering their expertise this year will be creative director of award-winning Scottish salon group, Paterson SA, Jon MacLeod; hugely successful salon group owner, Sean Hanna; leading salon management consultant, Nergish Wadia-Austin; and customer care expert, Julie Eldrett.
