Hairstyle Step by Step: Heavy Redhead Texture

A step by step showcasing a wonderful top-heavy, textured, layed style with vibrant redhead colour from & Hide Saiga of TONI & GUY...

Cut
>
1. A vertical centre back section was elevated at 90 degrees and a line cut from short to long. 2. Sections were worked through to the sides and over-directed back to maintain length through the front.
>
3. The front was blunt-cut into a strong, symmetrical fringe. 4. Internal layers were worked from the crown, from short to long.
5. Back-cutting was used to create a swelled texture.


Colour
>
1. Hair was pre-lightened. 2. The top section was divided into two sections and all the underneath section was block coloured with Hot Pink.
>
3. To create a heavy weightline, the root stretch technique was incorporated by applying Cherry Lip Red to the root and Hot Pink to the lengths and ends. 4. The top circular section was block coloured with Cherry Lip Red.
Styling: Hair was blast-dried and finished with irons.

Hot Pink 45ml Koleston Perfect 0/65 violet mahogany + 45ml Welloxon Perfect 6%

 Cherry Lip Red
45ml Koleston Perfect 0/45 red mahogany + 45ml Welloxon Perfect 6%
