Cut

1. The hair was sectioned at the crown creating a point at the nape. 2. Using the comb as a guide, a strong, slightly concave outline was created working up to the occipital bone. 3. The back sections were layered into a curved line working with the head shape and using the previously cut outline as a guide. Every subsequent section was over-directed to the first to maintain more length in the perimeter. This was repeated in front of the ear.

4. Horizontal layers were created starting at the crown and each subsequent section was overlapped slightly. 5. This was repeated for the front section and the first section was over-directed to the crown to keep weight through the fringe. 6. Hair was blow-dried and cut freehand to personalise.

Colour

1 Hair was sectioned at the crown, from just behind the parting to the fringe area, leaving out the contour near the hairline. 2. Tint & Tone 8/7 8V light blonde violet and 8/1 8A light ash blonde was applied in a ratio of 2:1 using Tint Lotion 9% (30 vol) at the front of the head. 3. The base colour Tint & Tone 8/7 8V light blonde violet and 8/1 8A light ash blonde with 5/7 5V light brown violet was applied with a mix ratio of 2:1, plus 2cm of 5/7 5V with tint lotion 5% (20 vol) at the nape.

4. The base colour with 6% (20 vol) tint lotion was applied to the roots and X-Dream Highlifting Cream was applied on the lengths and ends. 5. Hair was left to process, then rinsed and rough-dried. Tint & Tone 11/03 11NG extreme light natural golden blonde, plus mixing tone copper, was applied in a ratio of 10:1 and Tint & Tone 10/7 10V extra light blonde violet, plus mixing tone Magenta, was applied in a mix of 10:1.
