L'Oréal Talentspotting Winners Announced

Elaine-Copper,-Cats-Dublin.jpgThe regional winners of L'Oréal Professionnel's Talentspotting competition gathered at the Renaissance Chancery Court Hotel in London for the nail-biting grand final.

After winning their heats the finalists were mentored by Trevor Sorbie and Terry Calvert, who helped them with their presentations for the big stage.

The youngsters presented their models and explained the themes and inspirations behind the looks, before answering questions from the judges.

While the judges set about the difficult task of choosing the winner, the audience were treated to a presentation by students from Central Saint Martins with hair by Cristiano Basciu from Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa, Honey Dorey from Zappas, Claire Morley from Contemporary and Catherine Scobie from John Gillespie.

And the winners were...

Talentspotting Competition 2008
Winner: Elaine Cooper from Cats Hair Group, Dublin
Runner-up: David Goodrich from Sutherland & Barnett, Nottingham. 

Junior Art Team Competition 2008
Winner: Charlie Miller team, Edinburgh
Runners-up: Mack, Chelmsford
