Club Matrix Inspired in the Med

Glamorous Puerto Banús in sunny Spain played host to three hundred and twenty delegates at the second bi-annual Club Matrix conference.

Four days of fun and frolics, including sampling famous Spanish cuisine and exotic drinks, were interspersed with education and inspiration as attendees spent time 'Discovering Matrix.'

Split into a business, colour and cutting sessions, the conference gave delegates the opportunity to explore the whole of their business with indusrty experts.

Business Session
Adrian-Thelwell-Matrix-Gene.jpgHosted by Pamela Duthie, featuring Ben Taylor, Darragh O'Connor and Simon Lotinga.
This room of industry experts shared key points on salon management. Delving into the maximising of business potential and how to re invent salon retail. The Salon Coach, Simon Lotinga, also spoke on how to motivate a successful salon team.

Colour Session
Matrix-Artists.jpgHosted by Darren Oram, featuring Jo Norton, Colour Guest Artist and Educators Jayne & Nicky.

The colour room shared colouring techniques based on the latest trends while Jo Norton talked through where to find inspiration. Education team members Jayne and Nicky spoke about shade formulations in order to create a bespoke Kaleidoscope of colours to suit skin tone and introduced Matrix newest shades inspired by Autumn trends. All-in-all a fun and inspirational taste of Matrix's Colour Courses.

Cutting Session
Matrix-models.jpgHosted by Andrea Miller, featuring Guest Artists Christian Hefti, Marcus King, Michael Quinn, Alexander Turnbull and Christian Wiles.

Andrea and the team showcased the latest looks in men's hair colouring and cutting as well as the Autumn Trend predictions. Working with C.R.A.F.T. cutting methodology to inspire and showcase the finished looks this session was innovative and colourful. Also covered was how to make more from these core services in you salon.
