It was back to nature at the Rush seminar, when the artistic team presented its Technature collection.
Taking inspiration from nature and the current trend for animal prints, the eclectic mix combined with panels of colour with masses of movement.
Forget the trend for poker-straight, super-ironed hair, Rush has carved the way for a long-awaited return of movement and texture.
"Technature is about nature and hair with an almost fur-like effect," said international technical director, Chris Williams.
There were conflicting elements within the collection, with inspirations from the great outdoors merging with artificial design.
Overall, hair was short, choppy, and very raw, leaving the hair's natural texture to sit naturally, far less manipulated than previous seasons.
Colour was a major factor in the finished looks. Panels of colour included tones of violet, green, deep mahogany and blue.
