You can tell it's silly season. This last fortnight there have been more celebrity hair horrors than you can shake an oversized stick at.

What do you say - does celebs' sense of style evaporate in the sun or are we being harsh? Did pregnant Gillian deserve our scorn? Were we wrong to see a spark of style in Jordin's red streaks? Join in the discussion on the My HJi forum.

	Carla Bruni-Sarkozy Could France's first lady look any more effortlessly gorgeous? The face-framing layers, the soft waves through the lengths and the multi-tonal glossy shades. Pretty much perfect we say.
	Maggie Gyllenhaal With her head of shiny, bouncing, chocolate curls and sweeping side fringe, Maggie works the Hollywood glamour look as only an A-lister can.
	Jordin Sparks Jordin's big bouncy curls were in danger of making her look old beyond her years; but the funky flame-red flashes and the cheeky smile achieve a cutesy look far more fitting of an American Idol.
	Lindsay Lohan What ever happened to former celebrity hair hottie Lindsay? Those ends are drier than a Las Vegas summer, time to get a trim Miss Lohan!
	Gillian Anderson Okay, we appreciate that soon-to-drop Gillian might have other things on her mind right now, but we still can't believe she took to the red carpet with those roots and those faded limp locks.
	Kelly Rowland Poor Kelly's Naomi-style 'weave cleavage' really isn't a good look. Time to lay off the hairpieces for a while perhaps.
