Claudia Schiffer: Still The Blonde Bombshell

When it comes to the subject of beautiful blondes, Claudia Schiffer's name is one of the first to enter your mind.

But after nearly 20 years as one of the world's most recognisable, most admired supermodels does Claudia's hairstyle still cut it with the best of them?

Yesmin O'Brien from seanhanna, Sutton, thinks that is a resounding yes, but if you're tempted to re-create it be warned it's not a look that works for everyone.

"This colour is really only suitable for people with light hair and Nordic skin tones," says Yesmin. "Ideally, you need to be a base shade seven or eight, as this is a cool, ashen tone which is actually hard for most people to carry off.

"That's possibly why it really only suits people that have a dedicated hair and beauty team behind them - like Claudia Schiffer and Sienna Miller!

"This colour is achieved with back-to-back foils, or a full head of hi-lift tint. Hair needs to be cleansed with a violet/ash toned shampoo to knock out any unwanted yellow tones or any dullness."

Another admirer of Claudia's timeless style if Nick Malenko; but he insists that even Claudia has room for improvement.

"Claudia's hair is a cross between bed-head and beach hair. It is lightly layered so it falls softly around her face," he explains.

"Whatever style Claudia has she will look stunning, but I do think a slightly shorter, more layered and groomed look would still be glamorous and give her an edgier appearance."
