Career History: Acclaimed for her originality, creativity and vision, renowned hair stylist and 2004 British Hairdresser of the Year, Antoinette is the Global Creative Director of Aveda. Her responsibilities include providing the direction, vision and training for Aveda's hair cutting and styling programs, establishing trends, developing products and leading the company's education initiatives.Antoinette has had numerous celebrity clients, including Elle MacPherson, Catherine Zeta-Jones and members of the British Royal Family.


What is your biggest achievement?
Last week climbing a mountain in Nepal 3800 meters high it took 8 hours and was absolutely exhausting

If you weren't a hairdresser what would you be?
A detective

I'm Dutch and the Dutch don't tend to get star struck

Time you were most proud to be in hairdressing?
Just recently in Nepal when I realised that I am just a little hairdresser and my job has enabled me to give people like the ones we were working with, a better life. It was a proud moment, realising I was capable of effecting change in other peoples lives in a positive way.

What celebrity haircut do you wish had never caught on?
Mullet

What haircut would you love to make a come-back and how would you re-invent it for the noughties?
