British Beauty & Spa Awards: Training Award

Judges will be looking to see that your aims for the salon are channelled through to the staff.

Entrants need to supply a written entry covering the following:

500 word opening statement

  • Stating why you should win this award

In addition to your opening statement, please include a copy of your training manual that is issued to staff which contains the following:

  • Training programme and schedule
  • Appraisal system and review procedures
  • Staff development policy
  • Any other relevant material
  • An evaluation of the effectiveness of the training policy and how the staff and clients have benefited
  • A statement from a member of staff who has completed the training programme, giving their feedback
  • How external training is implemented and evaluated within the salon
