500 word opening statement

  • Explaining your background and ambitions and your plan to achieve your goals

In addition, your entry should include the following:

The importance of homecare advice and how you would integrate it within your manicure treatment service

  • Real examples of how you have promoted yourself or your business during the last 12 months (July 2007 – June 2008)

  • One photograph of an example of your finished nail shape on all fingers and thumbs on both hands on unpolished nails

  • One photograph of your finished polished nails on all fingers and thumbs on both hands

  • A minimum of six photographs to provide a step by step of your natural nail manicure including a written explanation of each photograph and what products you have used and why

  • Why do you think you should be Manicurist of the Year?
