Your entry should include:

300 word statement

  • Explaining why your skills set you apart from the competition

In addition to your opening statement, please include the following in your entry

  • Description of what kind of clients you are attracting and how;how often you see regular clients and how you maintain loyalty
  • Indication of how you keep up-to-date and increase product knowledge

Case study (new mature client over a six-month period):

  • Description of client’s problem as presented to you, including skin analysis

  • Treatments used, frequency and reason for your choice

  • Outcome of the treatment

  • Consultation techniques for homecare and education (given to the client) and how it is monitored

  • Forward planning for the client

  • Proof of treatment and product sales (ie, till receipts)

Attachments

  • Copies of professional qualification certificates

  • Photograph of the work salon environment

  • Photograph of the entrant

  • Examples of marketing initiatives (in-salon promotions, press coverage, advertising etc)
