Staff from all three Watkins Wright were caught up in award fever as they celebrated their achievements at a glittering award ceremony.
The teams were treated to a sumptuous three course meal before the awards ceremony and a night of partying began.
Salon owner Jill Watkins says "It is so important to reward the teams.
"They work so hard and just the best group of people to work with. We had such a fantastic time and the winners were so thrilled to win."

On Saturday hob salons held its 25th Anniversary Party, and annual awards, at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Mayfair – and I was there, along with HJ news and features writer, Emma Treadwell.
The invitation said ‘dress to impress’, and I certainly impressed myself by squeezing my growing frame into a fitted waistcoat that within five minutes of leaving the house was biting into my stomach like something Elvis would have worn during his Vegas years.

Pictures of the European Release
Black Magic was the theme as hairdressers from across the continent dressed to impress at TIGI's European release at London's Grovsenor House Hotel.
And from Anthony Mascolo and his wife Pat graffiti spraying a model's hair and make-up; to a half-naked model performing a gymnastic display in the bath; to a hand-cuffed Anthony escaping from a pool of water the event was magic all the way!
The evening launched TIGI's 'colour with style' range and Anthony, dressed in his trade-mark black trilby, explained that colour with style is all about colouring hair to complement the cut.
As he spray-painted his model's hair blue, yellow and red, he told the fascinated audience "Colour is all about being fun and creative and pushing the boundaries. Good colour is an extension of the cut."
While Pat added: "Hair and make-up go hand in hand. It is about creating a total image."
The European Creative Team, with members from as far afield at Germany and Italy, then demonstrated the Urban Detailing collection.
Showcasing short hair cuts with undercutting and asymmetric fringes for both men and women, TIGi revelaved three distinct colouring categories:
Street - Young and edgy use of colour. A modern look that can be done quickly
Classic - A more mature look about all over colour and keeping it simple
Glamour - A classy feel to reflect the 'It Girl' vibe.

As 80s nostalgia rears its ugly head - neon leg-warmers anyone? - Superdrug have revealed that the perm is making a comeback.
The highstreet store has found sales of home perm kits are up 50 per cent on the same period in 2007 - and in the last week alone they sold more of the kits than they did in all of February 2006.
Even Girls Aloud party girl Sarah Harding, who's fast gaining a reputation for her über chic locks, has been spotted with a head of curls in recent days.
But is the curl resurgence just a DIY thing or is it something occuring in your salons too and how do you feel about a return of the perm?

Zoe Norris, of the hob salons creative team, has headed up a team of Wella Professionals international stylists to style 25 models for designer Valeria Marini at the prestigious Milan Fashion Week.
Given a brief to create Sofia Lauren inspired 50’s hairstyles, working with wave sets and a matte finish, Zoe and the team took inspiration from this year’s Couture Allure Wella Professionals Trend Vision collection.
Playing on the screen sirens theme, hair revolved around striking, sculptured and shapely influences to give form and structure for a truly glamorous catwalk look.
Back on home soil, Zoe said: "Being asked to style the hair for such a fantastic, high profile event like Milan Fashion Week for Wella Professionals was great.
"The team were amazingly focused under tight time pressures and the models looked really striking on stage. It was a true honour to be part of it."

The Clynol Weekend of Excellence became a Christmas party, beach party and an awards ceremony all rolled into one in the luxury surroundings of The Grove Hotel, Hertfordshire.
After an inspirational speech on providing the best customer service by John Seaman and a sneaky peek at Clynol products coming up in the year ahead with Lee Anne Harvey, it was time for the fun and festivities to begin.
First up was a fantastic hair show and then delegates were split into teams and challenged to create a photograph that represented a season (click here to see the results!).
Celebrations continued into the evening with the introduction of the brand new Protégé team, before moving on to the serious business of announcing the Clynol Award winners.

It's been a busy week on the My HJi forum and one name has kept recurring: that of Girl's Aloud stunner Sarah Harding, who's clearly decide to take one for the team and deflect the spotlight from her bandmate Cheryl.
It's fair to say that you've been horrified by Miss Harding's somewhat alarming ummm 'mop' of curls. Equally alarming is the fact there's been a love-in for Jade Goody (yes, you read that right, a love-in for Jade). Flower is well impressed with her new on-trend fringe and classy (am I pushing it now?) colour.
Moving back to the Girls Aloud lovely, her curly-wurly do has sparked a bit of a debate about the return of the perm. Is it really back in your salons - and for that matter will crimping really find its way off the catwalk and onto the highstreet?
The blonde bombshell has also been nominated for the 'My HJi Best Tressed List' - but then so has Farah Fawcett so perhaps you guys aren't taking our very prestigious list quite as seriously as I am! If you've got a serious - or not so serious, for that matter - nomination for the list, please do make your voice heard.
In more serious business, Ruth H - yes, our very own Ruth Hunsley - has commented on quite how busy it is at the moment; not just in the HJ office, but among all the hairdressers she has spoken to recently.
She's looking for advice on the best ways to handle all that stress. Answers on a postcard - scrap that, answers on the forum to....
Elsewhere x.lois.x asks 'how gorg are these scissors?'

She'd rather like a pair. So if anyone has a spare bob or two - and with all that work you must be raking it in! - and is feeling generous drop her a line.
And trainee hairdresser Pat is looking for feedback on his entry for the 2008 Birmingham Training Academy Hairdresser of the Year. Let him know what you think - all compliments and constructive criticism welcome.
Can't finish without pointing out that the TIGI Bedhead for Men models - including these beautiful creatures - are also there to be admired. I know we put them there so they don't really count, but surely they're worth another look...

British Business Awards Salon of the Year 2007 finalists the Hair Advice Centre helped to demonstrate the difference a hairdo makes as they transformed a classroom into a salon and created over 100 disco ‘dos in just two hours to raise money for charity.
For one afternoon only, pupils from St. Cuthbert’s Catholic Primary School in Englefield Green got the chance to look as cool as their pop idols and sporting heroes, as they had their tresses tended to by the experts before their Valentine’s Day disco, whilst raising money for their ‘Realising the Dream’ charitable fundraising project at the same time.
A donation of just £1 secured them a captivating hairstyle, so whether the girls wanted to look like Leona Lewis with curly ringlets or boys wanted stylish spikes like Ronaldo, the hairdressers had all hands on ‘desks’ to transform the pupils ready for their party.
The menu of mussed up manes, ponytails and pleats got the disco started in style and had the pupils’ bopping all the way through the corridor to the hall, just like their favourite High School Musical characters.
With money raised going towards extra facilities for the school, the stylists proved they could cut it, by raising a helpful hundred pounds. St Cuthbert’s head teacher Mrs. Wilder was very thankful for the support: "The children enjoyed having their hair ringletted and spiked enormously, and was such a fun way to end a successful term!"
Louise Wood owner of the Hair Advice Centre thought this was a fun way to generate awareness and much-needed money for St Cuthbert’s.
"We thoroughly enjoyed being able to help raise money for such a worthy cause, and very much look forward to working with St. Cuthbert’s in the future."

When you see a beautiful hair collection in HJ it is easy to admire the beauty of the hair; but behind each collection there is a long creative process of inspiration, imagination and exploration.
While trend agencies, moods, film and music can have a big influence on what inspires these processes, Schwarzkopf Professional's inspiration for their Essential Looks comes directly from the fashion week catwalks.
"We take the inspiration direct from the international catwalk shows," says Steve Hogan Creative Director. "After the final show finishes in Paris we're ready to shoot the latest collection.
"One of the exciting things after you've done all the planning and written the ideas on paper is seeing the session stylists put it all together and give it their personal slant."

Essex Salon Group Feathers have launched a brand new Willy Wonka-style giveaway to help to give back to their local community and further afield.
The new initiative, part of their 'giving back is the new black' campaign, will see 400 golden tickets - which can be exchanged for a free haircut - sent out to businesses across North Essex.
All the salon group asks is that the golden ticket winners give a donation. that will go to St Helena Hospice, for their hair cut.
Halstead salon manager Lauretta Wood say: "We don’t mind what people give, they can give as little as £1 if they like, we would like them to give £100 of course, but we really don’t mind.
"It’s just for fun and our way of giving something back to the community. The team are really excited."
Other initiatives in the campaign include giving raffle prizes to charities and public causes in the area, taking part in the Run for LIfe and Managing Director Jeff Letter planning a trek to the top of Mount Kilimanjiro.

ghd have been told that their television advertising campaign for the ghd IV hair straightener is offensive to Christians and must not be screened again.
The campaign which combines erotic imagery with the wording 'thy will be done', taken from the Lord's Prayer, received 23 complaints, including one from the Archdeacon of Liverpool.
Three versions of the advert have been screened, which each feature seductively dressed women in bedrooms.
In the first scene a woman wearing lingerie sat on the edge of a bed with rosary-style beads clasped in her hands and prayed in Italian: 'May my new curls make her feel choked with jealousy.'
On-screen text stating 'ghd IV thy Will Be Done,' with the letter 't' stylised as a cross, followed by the text "ghd. A new religion for hair" then appears.
Another showed a woman lying on a bed, with her thoughts 'May my flirty flicks puncture the heart of every man I see' subtitled on the screen.
A third version showed a woman carrying a votive candle through to her bedroom before looking upwards and praying: 'Make him dump her tonight and come home with me.'
The Advertising Standards Authority said that the advert - and particularly its use of a letter 't' to resemble a cross in the word 'thy' - was likely to cause "serious offence" to Christians.
However, ghd group chief executive Martin Penny says that he is shocked by the 'harsh' ruling.
"I am surprised with the ASA decision around the ghd advert," he says. "We have used our strapline for seven years without controversy and whilst we do not wish to cause offence we do believe the ruling is unduly harsh considering the advert has been viewed by a wide range of consumers with a disproportionately small minority feeling aggrieved.
"We do not believe that the advert is overly erotic or that the choice of font used is offensive to the wider Christian community. 35 million consumers viewed the advert with 23 complaints.
"I welcome debate around this and whilst the ad is not currently on TV, because it had run its schedule, it can be viewed on our website www.ghdhair.com"

I read a huge amount of glossy magazines and recently there have been more and more hairdressers quoted in features that I have never heard of. As consumers continue to be celebrity obsessed, they want to hear what the stylists of top A-list celebrities are doing -- Hollywood stars rather than reality TV stars. What styles are they asking for? How do they look after their tresses? What advice are they given? Many of the stylists quoted seem to be LA and New York based, so is this the end of the UK celebrity hairdresser, or do they still have something to offer? With makeover shows as popular as ever, is UK hairdressing becoming known for its before and afters rather than its directional, trend-setting style, or is the glamour of America clouding people's judgements? I’ve just returned from a long weekend in the lovely coastal resort of Vilamoura in Portugal, where I was attending the Rand Rocket annual conference.
Despite a 2.30 am start, in order to catch a plane from Gatwick (and the late arrival of my taxi, which was dutifully parked outside a house in completely the wrong borough of London) I was parked in my seat ready for the 10th Annual Rand Rocket Conference.

I recently left for Australia and, excited as I was about the trip, I was equally thrilled by something happening in the UK – the launch of my Shiny Happy Hair range.
It’s been really well-received and the initial sales are excellent – over and above what we were expecting.
A new order has already been placed and there are already some clear favourite products, which will help us know what direction to go in when we develop additions to the range.

See yourself as a caring sharing individual who loves helping out people trying to find their way in the hair industry? If so, My HJI needs you this week.
We've got three pleas for advice going on:
x.lois.x wants to know 'what's good for getting rid of yellow tones in platumum blonde hair?'
So far she's been advised a bit of in-salon toner mixed with some shampoo, but if you have any other suggestions, let her know.
Have you tried colourstart patches? If so Colourking wants to hear from you...
Finally, Emalia of the 'beer money and champagne tastes', wants to know about the best highlighting caps.
The ones she has been given at college are too bulbous around the crown - sadly she hasn't attached a comedy photo though!
Elsewhere , there's some great examples of people's work.
Here's a mannequin that Kieran has cut and coloured during his training. Why not let him know how you think he is getting on with his training?

Finally we're debating the rights and wrongs of the banned ghd ads. Do you find them offensive like Bertie or think it is a fuss about nothing like dids ?Have your say on My HJi.
