Vidal Sassoon is an inspiration

Last night I interviewed Vidal Sassoon for a special feature which will appear in next week's issue. He has just celebretaed his 80th birthday, and I spoke to him about his career, his memories and the people he had worked with. I could have listened to him for hours as he talked enthusiastically about the inspirations behind his famous looks, the people he worked with, the team that he adored and the dedication, passion and commitment he has for the industry. I couldn't sleep as his stories rang round my mind and writing the feature this morning was one of the most interesting I have written. He revealed his favourite style he ever created was the five point cut -- but to find out why you'll have to read HJ next week! Ruth @HJi x
