Christmas is coming!!

Here at HJ we are working on the final issues of the year and we can hardly believe where the time has gone. I don't know if working on a weekly magazine makes time go faster, or if it's simply because I'm getting older that the weeks are flying past!
I for one am getting very excited about the arrival of my first child which is due in 5 weeks. I'm at work for the next couple of weeks, and then I have a wonderful journalist by the name of Matthew Batham covering for me for six months while I get to grips with this mummy thing! Having spent the last six years living and breathing hairdressing working on a fantastic magazine, I'm not sure how I will cope with the totally different pressures of motherhood. Any tips would be much appreciated!
Anyway today I am working on a celebrity style feature for one of our December issues, I thought I would focus on Lily Allen, she's so cool right now and has the most fantastic hair. Best get to work! Emma
