Texture more popular than straight at HJ's British Hairdressing Awards

Despite autumn/winter catwalks bursting with straight tresses - and experts claiming straight hair is on its way back - it was texture all the way at HJ's British Hairdressing Awards. When I saw the collections at yesterdays judging, it seemed hairdressers from across the country have embraced curls, waves, braids and crimped hair, with stunning images of texture everywhere. So, when we hit the autumn/winter season, it will be interesting to see which look dominates the high street.
