Hats off to zara phillips!

The queen's granddaughter, Zara Phillips, married her ruby playing beau Mike Tindall this weekend at 2011's second Royal Wedding.

Champion equestrienne Zara opted for a simple hairstyle for her big day, topped off with a diamond tiara loaned by her mother, Princess Anne.

The bride wore her hair in a low chignon, complete with a silk veil designed by her dress designer, Stewart Parvin.

This knotted hairstyle has a classic feel to it and has a real hint of vintage glamour - perhaps not what we would have expected from the sporty royal, but a fabulous surprise.

Guests at the wedding pulled out all the stops, with an array of hats and fascinators of every shape and size...

Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice opted for relatively simple styles - no doubt aware of the gossip surrounding their choice of headgear at this year's other Royal Wedding!

Eugenie opted for a coffee and cream saucer-style hat which coordinated perfectly with both her suit and colouring, while Beatrice kept things a little more simple than last time with a cerulean-hued, petal-scattered number.

Coronation Street star Katherine Kelly - a childhood friend of the groom - also dazzled in an enormous hat. Her bright orange number, trimmed with pink ribbon, provided a perfect colour pop to her nude gown and is perfectly on trend for high summer.

Both the Duchess of Cambridge and Camilla Parker-Bowles opted for floral styles, bringing a suitably summery feel to their formalwear.

Catherine's trademark glossy mane is simply styled as ever, with sparkling shine and gentle curls through the lengths. The disk-shaped hat, worn at this season's face-covering angle looks fabulous from the back with cream and gold flowers peeping out from underneath.

I think my favourite hat from the whole wedding is Camilla's OTT, wild flower-strewn number. It makes a real statement but the muted colours prevent it being too showy.
