Updos everywhere at the pride of britain awards 2010

A glamorous red carpet event is the perfect excuse for an updo, and at this weekend's Pride of Britain Awards, buns, quiffs, and ponytails were worn by many of the most stylish guests.
Guests at the charitable event included X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd, who took her cue from mentor Cheryl Cole with a glamorous lace dress and curly ponytail. The quiff gives her look a bit of trademark edge, too.
Amanda Holden also wore her hair up in a quiff, with the rest of her locks swept up in to a curly bun style.
Buns were the other big hit of the night, with WAG supreme Coleen Rooney dressing up her large, twisted style with a chic purple bow headband. She looks rather on the orange side too...
Mum-to-be Emma Bunton also opted for a bun, worn high on the head. The flat, round style has loads of texture, which contrasts nicely against the smooth sides and top. I'm not convinced by her fringe though - it looks rather piecey and thin.
