Sleek, Streamlined and Seductive at Andrew Brown

Contemporary to the core, the Andrew Brown salon in the capital's up-and-coming London Bridge district fully exploits the potential of a new build to make an impact.

Andrew's partner, John Feguson, has a fashion background and used his extensive contacts in shopfitting and interior design, combined with seven weeks of frenzied activity delivered a clean, cool, über-stylish statement of intent.

"Above all, we wanted to create a swanky salon, one that stands out from the crowd," says Andrew, who has been hairdressing for 13 years. "What we've achieved visually reflects our creative energies and also our experiences in the hair business."

andrew-brown-interiors-1.jpgCentral to the highly successful, open-plan design is a striking colour palette, which gives an atmosphere of intimacy and unlimited luxury. Predominately white, with accents of silver and brown, the visual message is high-end, unflinchingly modern, yet timeless.

The most expensive part of the project was the opening party, which saw no expense spared, and involved a red carpet, free bar, and dancing into the small hours. "We wanted to make a splash, the area is becoming a magnet for new businesses from retail outlets to new media and we wanted our brand to grab everyone's attention," says Andrew.
